Custom Furniture FAQs

Can I send you a Pinterest or Instagram design?
Yes. Reference images are a useful starting point. We can discuss how the design may be adapted to your requirements.
Can I change the size of an existing PakTurk design?
Yes. Many designs can be adjusted in width, depth or height, subject to suitable proportions and construction.
Can I choose polish and upholstery?
Yes. Polish shade, colour and upholstery choices can be discussed before the custom order is confirmed.
Which wood will my furniture be made from?
Our standard wood is imported pine, properly dried and hand-finished in our own workshops. Sheesham and dayar are available on request. We build only in solid wood and do not use MDF.
How much does custom furniture cost?
Every custom order is priced individually, because customisation changes the price. The final price depends on the design, size, wood and finish you choose. Send us your requirements and we will share a clear quotation before anything is made.
Do I need to pay in advance?
Yes. We require a 50% advance payment to place a custom order.
How long does custom furniture take?
Our standard making time is around three weeks. The exact timeline depends on the design, material, size and quantity, and we confirm it with the final specification before production begins.
Can I see my furniture while it is being made?
Yes, if you would like. We can share photographs of your piece during production for your approval before it is finished.
Does the lifetime wood guarantee cover custom furniture?
Yes. Custom-made furniture carries the same lifetime wood guarantee as every PakTurk piece. If the wood cracks, warps or suffers wood-boring insect damage, we will remake the piece. Please note that custom pieces cannot be returned or exchanged. You can read the full policy here.
Do you repair or re-polish old furniture?
Yes. We offer repair and re-polish services for PakTurk furniture. Send us photographs of the piece on WhatsApp and we will guide you on the next steps.
Do you deliver outside Islamabad?
Yes. We deliver to customers in cities across Pakistan. In Islamabad and Rawalpindi we use our own transport; orders to other cities go by TCS. Delivery charges apply and are confirmed with your order. Please note that mirrors ordered outside Islamabad and Rawalpindi are shipped as frame only, and the glass is fitted locally.
