Why a carved center table is worth the money

Carving only looks right in real wood. On MDF, carved-look tables are pressed or pasted patterns that chip at the edges. In solid timber, the carving is cut into the wood itself, so it survives decades of use and can be re-polished when the finish dulls. Our Sulemani pieces are hand-carved, and the Turkan designs carry real brass work set into the wood.

A center table also takes daily knocks: feet rest against it, trays slide across it, children bump into it. Solid wood takes this without complaint. If the top ever needs attention years later, we do re-polish work on our own furniture.

How to size a center table

The table should be roughly half to two-thirds the length of your sofa. Leave at least 60 cm of walking space between the table and the TV unit or wall opposite. Too big and the room feels cramped; too small and it looks lost in front of a large sofa.

Measure your seating area before ordering, not after. If your room falls between standard sizes, custom work covers it. Send us the dimensions on WhatsApp and we quote before starting. Our standard making time is three weeks.

Caring for carved wood

Dust settles into carving, so wipe the table with a dry soft cloth once a week. A soft brush gets dust out of deep carving. Wipe spills quickly and avoid placing very hot dishes directly on the polish. These small habits keep the finish good for years.

Custom sizes and finishes

Non-standard room sizes, a specific polish to match old furniture, a taller or lower table than usual: custom work covers all of it. Custom work changes the price, so we quote on WhatsApp before starting. A 50% advance places the order, and our standard making time is three weeks.

Delivery and our wood guarantee

Delivery is arranged for every order and charged fairly: our own transport in Islamabad and Rawalpindi with your approval, TCS for other cities. Delivery is not free; we confirm charges before dispatch. Every table carries our lifetime wood guarantee: if the solid wood itself ever fails (cracking, warping, or wood-boring insect damage), we replace or exchange it. If your plans change, you can return furniture to us for 70% of what you paid.
