Kohistani

Kohistani is our metal-work furniture line. Solid wood frames strengthened and decorated with hand-fitted metalwork. Brackets, straps, studs and frames in metal, set against heavy timber. It is the most rugged line we make, furniture with a mountain character, built like it means it.

The name is part of our Turkish-inspired design family, and Kohistani pieces suit homes that want furniture with presence. Big dining tables, heavy beds, consoles and chairs that look like they could survive anything. The metal is real, not painted plastic, and it is fixed properly, not glued on.

Underneath the metal is solid, properly dried wood from our own workshops. We use imported pine wood as standard, with sheesham and dayar (deodar) available on request. There is no MDF in Kohistani furniture. Wood and metal move differently, so our carpenters fit every joint to allow for it. That is workshop knowledge, not factory work.
